With Varilux lenses,
head movements are reduced to 6º – only half as much – while
the eyes are able to turn 19º. The gradual and regular
distribution of power characteristics in the periphery of
the Varilux lens allows for very comfortable vision in a
lateral, side-to-side gaze. The Varilux wearer enjoys larger
fields of vision with less head movement. |

Near the age of 40, a condition
known as Presbyopia develops. It’s a natural part of aging which makes
it difficult to focus on things close. Since the days of Ben Franklin,
the solution to this has been bifocals.
These types of lenses are now
