Although
progressive lenses have evolutionarily changed the patients
preference from bifocals to progressive lenses, Varilux®
Ipseo® will revolutionarily change visual clarity, resulting
in a superior, more natural visual experience.
The procedure has been to order the same design for every
patient regardless of how they use their eyes. This has been
satisfactory for many, but a few still could not adapt from
the way their eyes used to serve them without glasses, and
it is a step below would can be offered now..
Based on available technology, fitting a patient correctly
to the lens has been the standard and somewhat satisfactory
for some. However, we believe
fitting the lens to the patient, instead of the patient to
the lens, will produce much greater and more natural
comfort. So a method was devised to
customize the lens to the particular viewing habits of each
